The timetable has been created to build a solid foundation in the core disciplines of aerial and ground based acrobatics.

Importance is also given to gaining strength, increasing flexibility and preventing injury.

Unlike other courses AirCraft Circus also offers rigging education, weekly classes in flying trapeze and tasters in specialist circus skills such as Wall Running, Chinese Pole and Swinging Trapeze

As the Course progresses there will be more emphasis on Act Creation and Performance Skills, leading to an end of term show. * Please note specialist skills as above are only tasters, rather than core skills. Students will only receive four classes of the five listed skills during the duration of the course, depending on availiablity.

Learning circus skills is a fun and unique way of keeping strong and healthy, nurturing creativity and making new friends.  Skills including trapeze, acrobatics, juggling, and bungee are taught in a safe group environment with experienced instructors.

Classes run in 6 week terms, trial sessions are available.

This Weekend Performance Workshop is open to those who have never put a routine together before or those who wish to continue development on an act in progress.

Price: £149
Sat 30th June – 10am-4pm
Sun 1st July – 1pm-7pm

The Sunday workshop will culminate in a free, informal showing to friends and family at 6pm.

With his high impact, polished shows Chrisalys has toured internationally with Torture Garden, Supperclub, The Box, Madame Pains Boudoir Circus and the worlds leading clubs. Chrisalys’ acts are a mix of aerial, acrobatics, traditional sideshow skills and twisted theatre.

It’s the most exciting Youth Circus School in London – AirCraft Circus is proud to offer our new Tuesday afternoon Youth Circus Club for Trapeze Tots. Come along and learn trapeze, juggling, acrobatics, bungee, and lots more!!!

TRAPEZE TOTS: This is for 3, 4 and 5 years only.  For 3 year olds the parent must stay, but for 4-5 years this is a child only class.

Parents are welcome to stay and wait downstairs, maybe have sauna whilst you wait!!!

AirCraft Circus have been teaching adults circus skills for 10 years and have now opened our doors to the next generation of circus artists. We strongly believe that learning circus skills will improve motor skills, coordination, balance, strength and confidence in a friendly but disciplined environment.

Natasha Usmar (school of 2010)

Natasha, featured in the above picture is currently working in Germany in the largest traditional touring circus in Europe Circus Krone.  This old-style traditional circus features lots of animals, including lions, horses, elephants, camels, and sea-lions. Vegetarian animal loving Natasha informs us that although it is different to anything she knows, and certainly wouldn’t be allowed in the UK, all of the animals are treated very well. Natasha is performing as part of the ballet, but also does an aerial hoop solo to open the show, accompanied by a clown on saxaphone. Her contract finishes in November and she will be back at the Hangar Arts Trust for training on her return. Check out some footage of Natasha in action below:

Kathryn Cooley (class of 2011)

Kathryn performed with AirCraft Circus at Evolution in May. Currently she lives in Cornwall and has done a few things with Swamp Circus. She has also done two weeks training in Ireland with Fidget Feet Aerial Dance Company. Kathryn is currently residing in Berlin. Watch this space for more news.

Lucy Gould (class of 2010)

Lucy graduated from AirCraft Circus Foundation Course in Circus Arts in 2010 and is off to do some further training in September with Circomedia to do their foundation degree. Lucy did some circus cabaret in May to help fund the course, and will be doing some more in September, so watch this space for news of where to catch her perform.

Teresa Callan (class of 2010)

Teresa Callan has just finished performing with Circus of Light in Kent, directed by Lucinda Ryan (aka Ivy Paige) Next year Teresa is performing in Cirque Revolution with five other multi-skill artists (including AirCraft CIrcus teacher Jo Foley) in Tenerife. Teresa is also joining the AirCraft Circus team at the 02 in September for World Skills to perform Lucy’s rope choreography.

Rachel Entwistle (class of 2010)

Rachel recently performed with the Mustdashios at the Battersea Barge. Rachel is co-founder of the company, and the recent show was called Chips and featured lots of sequined pants! Rachel is a regular at AirCraft Circus and can often be found at the Hangar Arts Trust. Watch this space for further news of Rachel’s Circus performances.
